Our 64th graduation is just around the corner. And just like the historic September graduation, the 64th graduation ceremony will be exclusively virtual on the 11th December 2020 from 7.30 am.

University of Nairobi graduations are usually filled with pomp and glamor and you may be wondering what an unusual time it is to graduate but you don’t need to worry because you can still make it special.

Prof. Henry Indagasi is as old as the University of Nairobi. He joined the department of Literature in 1970 and served as Chair of Department in 1988. In a webinar organized by the department of literature on 25th November, 2020, no one could have been better placed to tell the Department of literature’s story than Prof. Indangasi. The literary scholar went down the memory lane in an exciting presentation titled, “The Department of Literature at 50: The facts and the Fabrications.” Below is his story.

The Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies on November 23, 2020 held a highly successful and exciting webinar titled, “Anthropology Today-Repositioning the Discipline of Anthropology in the Global discourse.  The webinar was part of the UoN@50 celebrations.
