Tecno mobile phone company had a lively event to promote their brand as an equal opportunity employer to thousands of University of Nairobi students. The event took place at the University of Nairobi Towers on October 7, 2022.


Tecno brand ambassadors were quick to highlight the strong selling points of Tecno phones which include stylish designs, powerful camera and video, which serves young consumers at heart.  “Dont stop loving. Dont stop creating,” they urged students to explore their creative genius and maximize the phone capabilities.  

Armed with a mission to provide smart devices for the global market and become the most admired smartphone devices in the market. Tecno is well prepared to capture the world. They have a presence in 70 Countries with Kenya being their strongest market. 

Tecno has been very good at using the local talented musicians to promote their brands. In the recent past, they have engaged Otile Brown and Octopizzo to promote their latest phone models.  

Students were excited to know that Tecno is ranked number 6 globally, among other global brands like Coke, Adidas, Google, Apple, etc.  Tecno has also been in the forefront in engaging the Kenyan community in Corporate Social Responsibilities (CRS) activities; these include engaging the refugees in Kenya and India and helping those affected by COVID 19 pandemic.  

The major phone segments highlighted include ; Phantom X  ,  Spark  X, Camon 19 and  Pop Series. With over 2000+ service centers and covering 50 towns Tecno is well placed to serve Kenyans.  

The head of Human Resources at Tecno told students that as they will be joining trainees and they are expected to work with Managers to help them scale up the corporate ladder and take up higher responsibilities.  Tecno as an organization focuses on individual skills, gender ratio, evaluation of key competence and building sustainable organization.
