Seventy-three students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences were recognized and honored in various categories during the Students Recognition Awards Ceremony held in Taifa Hall on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Speaking during the event, University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama observed that students have excelled in many areas, not just in academics, but also in extra curriculum activities like sports and hence they should be recognized. One of the prominent sportsmen in the country, the fastest man in the world, Ferdinand Omanyala is one of the students worth celebrating.
