online learning for school of law

The Dean School of Law, Prof. Kiarie Mwaura has sent an official communication to all students  on resumption of face to face Learning/ Online learning 2021 dated January 15, 2021.

In the Memo, the Dean notes the position of the School board even as he said that a committee had been formed to weigh in on whether it would be possible for the School of Law campuses to handle the crowd of students and still put the Covid-19 preventive measures in place for resumption of face to face learning.

The committee carefully considered the communication from the Office of the President and the University Senate. They made visits to the Parklands, Mombasa and Kisumu campus to assess the facilities.

After deliberations and careful considerations of the facilities and the guidelines that have been given by the government, the Ministry of Health and the University Senate in the face of the Covid-19, the committee concluded that students will continue with online learning and exams.

However, on the online examinations, the school board noted that they had edited the manual, noting that students did not have to do a video recording/report for the exams that have commenced today January 18, 2021 and beyond.

All the best to the students who have started their online examinations.
