The Nairobi Innovation Week is an annual event focusing on catalyzing innovations, incubation, start-ups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the University of Nairobi. Further, it provides local and international innovators a platform to showcase innovations and build business networks.

The purpose of the NIW is to contribute towards a vibrant innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurial culture through policy influence, research dissemination, showcasing innovation, incubating innovation and ideas, start-up creations, networking, capacity building, investment, and support opportunities.

The theme of this year´s Innovation Week is Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem through
Government-Industry-Academia linkages for Sustainable Development.

The innovation week aims to engage and inform industry partners, exhibitors, and innovators, to ensure maximum participation and support to increase the awareness of NIW 2024. #NIW2024 will have side events, exhibitions, boot camps, workshops, and start-up pitching.
